KIPI Radio is a commercial FM station operating at 93.5 MHz. Our signal transmits with 100,000 kW’s of power and a 653-foot tower and antenna.

We’re owned by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and are licensed by the FCC. Our signal reaches the entire Cheyenne River Reservation with a minimum of 50 dBu. Our signal strength maps a 120-mile radius with Eagle Butte at the center.

Facilities

Our studios are located in a building with 3,600 square feet and includes areas for production, offices, conference rooms, and other support space.

Vision

To provide technically advanced broadcasts that reach all the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation communities and incorporated towns/cities within Dewey and Ziebach Counties.

Mission

The Cheyenne River radio station will provide relevant general information, news, weather, and a variety of music while promoting a greater cultural understanding through educational programming for the Cheyenne River Reservation and general listening population.
